Emotional eating: what to do?

If you eat too much, you know, you get fat, yet is not for everyone so: neurophysiological mechanisms underlying the feeling of hunger and the subsequent ingestion of certain foods at the expense of others.

The nervous mechanism from the stomach goes to the brain, to communicate the feeling of hunger, it is not the only one to be responsible. It cannot be ascribed entirely to the State stomach empty feeling hungry. If it did not explain why individuals excised the stomach are still able to experience such a feeling! Consequently hunger must also result from other factors.

Two physiologists: A.W. Hetherington and S.W. Ransono, as early as 1939, had observed that the injuries to the ventromedial hypothalamus caused in animals an inordinate desire to eat, resulting in obesity. In contrast, injuries in a more Supreme source garcinia cambogia customer reviews lateral area decreased food cravings, resulting in weight loss.

This has got to ascertain that the center that regulates the sense of hunger or satiety is the hypothalamus, or rather the presence of certain neurotransmitters produced by the brain. But not only that stress triggers of strokes of dopamine that causes the classic “fame anxious.”

The need to eat

Under stress the body produces a substance, called norepinephrine, which inhibits the release of another substance, corticotropin, abbreviated as CRH, which, among its many effects, has to take away your appetite. It is clear therefore that stress, producing noradrenaline prevents corticotropin let us experience the feeling of satiety, hence the constant feeling of hunger, manufactured from anxiety.

The main antagonist of noradrenaline is another substance, produced by our brains, the serotorina that, in contrary of noradrenaline, stimulates the release of CRH, therefore the feeling of fullness!

It was found that people with uncontrollable impulses towards food, particularly towards sweets and carbohydrates typically have low serotonin levels. Serotonin is produced if there is an amino acid in the body: tryptophan, but applies only if you have carbohydrates. When the serotonin level is low, the body emits compulsive request signals what is able to elevate it quickly. Sweets and carbohydrates, for their interconnection to the amino acid tryptophan, are therefore ideal foods. Too bad that the side effects of this assumption are the inevitable weight gain!

Tryptophan

As we have seen is the amino acid tryptophan major responsible for the production of serotonin. Tryptophan is one of the amino acids that make up proteins. Proteins are composed of amino acids, 22 in all. Our body is capable of producing 14 of these amino acids from sugar and/or fat combined with nitrogen, a substance released in the body by proteins. While it is unable to do so for the other 8 amino acids (which inaccurately are called essential while all 22 amino acids are essential to life). These 8 must be integrated by the power if we want to keep our cells healthy and active. The value of proteins is determined by the number and amounts of amino acids content. Proteins that contain abundantly the 8 essential amino acids, are called complete.

Proteins are constructive and healing foods, are an essential part of the cells, their presence keeps them viable, efficient and able to produce the antibodies needed to eradicate virus attacks.

The function of tryptophan is to help improve sleep and mood is often used as an antidepressant although not a drug! Reduces sensitivity to pain, so much that is prescribed in cases of severe migraines. Is its presence (recommended dose: 3.5 mg per kilogram of weight), in combination with carbohydrates, allowing the pineal body to produce serotonin and melatonin.

Serotonin, melatonin and growth hormone

These first two hormones, are also known as the happy hormone (serotonin) and the hormone of youth (melatonin), are produced by the body on the basis of a just and regular exposure to light.

The light stimulates the pineal gland, allows the formation of serotonin. A sufficient presence of this hormone induces a pleasant feeling of positivism towards life and its events, as well as induce a feeling of satiety.
